Mohammad-Hossein Biglu, Mostafa Ghavami and Reza Ferdowsi

Detecting Breast Cancers (BS) in early-stage could reduce its death rates. BC damages women and their families both emotionally and psychologically.1 An easy method for detecting BC through its early exposure is breast screening. The high incidence rate of breast cancer of Iranian women occurs one decade earlier compared to the women in developed countries.2 Early diagnosis of breast cancer in women can improve the opportunity for treating and curing patients. According to the results of previous studies, in women that mammography detected their breast cancer at early stages, the success rate of treatments was considerably improved.3,4 Routine mammography is not recommended in developing countries for detection of BC, due to the economic issues and the lack of exact information about the burden of breast cancers.5,6 Due to the lack of a regular breast cancer screening program in Iran; the Breast Self-Exam (BSE) is considered as an appropriate approach for the detection of breast cancers.7
